Curaçao has introduced basic measures of hygiene and social distancing that remain in effect. The goal is to help prevent and fight COVID-19 on the island. These measures are applicable for everyone, both residents and visitors:
- Wash your hands frequently with water and soap and/or use hand sanitizer
- Cough and sneeze into your elbow or shoulder
- Maintain a 2 meter distance
- Wear a mask in public and crowded places
- Avoid agglomeration
- If possible, work from home more often
- Open windows to stimulate natural ventilation
- If you have COVID-19 symptoms: stay home, call you doctor and take a test
Some common COVID-19 symptoms are: headache, high fever, dry cough and sore throat, difficulty with breathing
MANDATORY USE OF FACEMASK
The use of a facemask remains mandatory when visiting the following public places listed below. Furthermore, the use of facemask is recommended in all other places and organizations.
